The app I reviewed is called ACT Math lite. This app is free, the user just has to make a free account to log in with. This could be used by more middle school students, but there is an elementary section of questions. The other sections include geometry, intermediate, miscellaneous and pre algebra.
The pros to this app were once you log in, it keeps track of how you are doing on questions by keeping a total of questions answered correctly and the % correct for each of the 5 sections. Besides practice questions, there are practice tests too.
The cons to this app were that you cannot write on the screen to help figure out the answer like a scratch piece of paper. Also that it is geared towards older students, but is a very helpful app and would work for advanced students in math.
I would use this app more as practice for students to work further on their math skills rather then using it for the whole class.
